An active collaboration with the following research group exists:
Please see the mutual website at: http://bioprodesign.org/
This interdisciplinary research project aims at increasing the connection between creators of scientific, artistic and architectural designs by analyzing and integrating bioinformatics modelling with forms of visualization in design and architecture software.
The bioinformatics paradigm has strongly altered and reshaped processes of knowledge generation and forms of education in biomedicine, which are still poorly understood from both a historical and philosophical viewpoint. This partial project aims at analyzing and contextualizing such processes in their greater historical trajectory and technological dimension.
Members of the group include:
Dr. Christian Jacob, Bioinformatics
Dr. Faramarz Samavati, Computer Science
Prof. Gerald Hushlak, Art
Dr. Frank W. Stahnisch, History of Medicine
Prof. Joshua Taron, Architecture
